It can be tough to gather everything you need gone around your house and bedroom when it’s time for Spring cleaning. Most people have unwanted junk hidden away in closets, basements or even the garage. Some people let themselves stress out around this time of the year because they don’t know what to keep or get rid of. Our simple advice is to walk around your house with a list and write down everything you want gone and by the time you call up a hauling company like ourselves, it will be easy as pie for you to know what’s going and what’s staying.
We came up with a list that shows the top 5 items to be junked during Spring cleaning. We hope this list gets you an idea on what you want removed from your living space.
5. Enormous Televisions
We have been getting a lot of calls recently to haul off huge projection television sets mainly because they either broke or people want to upgrade to something newer that is more compact and not bulky. I can’t even tell you how many of these we got in the past month. Most of them were broke so we had to trash them but the ones that still worked were donated!
4. The Old Couch Collecting Dust
We get multiple couches almost daily to be hauled off. We noticed that people sometimes leave their old couches in their basement which the only thing it does is sit there and collect dust. If you aren’t using the couch, might as well haul it off. If it is still in good condition then we will find it a new home.
3. The Garage Clutter
Most of the time, people like to treat their garages as some sort of storage space. Over time, it can get a bit crammed up in there with useless stuff. The best thing to do is figure out what is not useful anymore and trash it. It will save you a lot of eyesore and you just might be able to fit another car in the garage again!
2. Yard Debris Trimmings… YUCK!
Everybody’s bushes and limbs grow each year and need to have a trim up. There’s not a better time to do it in Spring cleaning time. It will make your neighbors jealous that your yard looks better than theirs and they might just ask you for some advice about their yard.
1. Your Bed
This time of the year might be the best time to get rid of your bed. Mattresses do tend to get old and they might have been causing you back pains for some time now. Well, the weather has warmed up and now it’s time to get your butt to the store and grab you something comfortable. We noticed from our past jobs, people leave their old beds somewhere in their house for awhile because they don’t know how to get rid of it. Well, that’s where we come in to save the day!
